"Reroot to Reboot"

A 6-WEEK YOGA AND DIGITAL WELLNESS
AFTER-SCHOOL PROGRAM FOR MIDDLE-SCHOOLERS (GRADES 7 & 8)

Michelle Cosens bridges her passion for yoga, PhD research on the harmful effects of social media, and 8+ years of K-8 education to bring this unique and timely workshop to our local youth.

✨ This workshop is a 6-week series teaching yoga and breathwork to foster digital wellbeing offered to all 7th and 8th grade students (12-14 YO).

🧘 Each week, students will learn yoga postures, breathing exercises, and digital wellness habits to encourage self-awareness, emotional resiliency, and self-regulation–invaluable tools that can help them navigate an unprecedented 24/7 digital environment.

Using yoga to “reroot” into their bodies, students find agency in “rebooting” their nervous systems to lower anxiety and promote well-being.

💸 Parents pay a flat fee of $120 to sign their middle-schooler up for all 6 sessions.

⏰ Sessions take place on Wednesdays from 3:45 to 5:00 PM at our Grosse Pointe location beginning September 9th and ending October 14th.

Our studio is a 5-minute walk from Parcells Middle School, making it a perfect after-school option for students to transition from school to rest and relaxation. Capacity is limited to 15 students so get a spot while you can!
