Meet Tristin Hurley-Cartwright
Tristin Hurley-Cartwright is a 200 hour registered YogaWorks yoga instructor through Yoga Alliance (RYT), 100 hour certified Birth Humanity prenatal yoga instructor (CPYT), and has completed over 300 hours of continuing education courses.
She is a native of Detroit with an east coast flair as she lived in Washington, DC for nearly fifteen years upon completing her bachelor’s of science degree in biology from Howard University. After a ten year career in Cosmetic Medical Administration, Tristin returned home to the Detroit area with her husband to start their family and embark on her wellness career.
She has practiced yoga for nearly fifteen years and instructed for over three. Tristin melds her understanding of the human body from her Biology degree with knowledge gained from yoga instructor programs to curate grounding, accessible Back Care, Vinyasa Flow, Gentle, Prenatal and Postnatal yoga classes for all bodies at Full Lotus Yoga Detroit and Grosse Pointe Woods.
Tristin is passionate about balance through health, wellness, and nutrition. She finds balance in her personal life through physical activities like yoga, breath work, jogging, and calisthenics as well as gardening with her family. Tristin believes any and all things can be achieved by taking one breath at a time with love and grace.

Come build a greater connection between your mind, body, breath and growing baby belly in each session. These series are geared towards all stages of pregnancy and no yoga experience is necessary. We will build upon breathing and movement fundamentals and techniques each week to help calm your mind and increase your body’s awareness, stamina, and endurance to aid in birthing your bundle of joy and forever thereafter.

This five week series is geared towards all postnatal persons no matter when you birthed your baby, whether it was 4 weeks or 40 years ago. No yoga experience is necessary. We will build upon breathing and movement fundamentals and techniques each week to help calm your mind and increase your body’s awareness, stamina, and endurance to aid in your postnatal recovery and caring for your new bundle of joy if you recently birthed.
