Traditional Flow

Inspired by the Ashtanga Yoga method, this class offers a series of classic asana (postures), and pranayama (breath) techniques taught in a familiar sequence to create stability and ease in the body.  Students are encouraged to use breath, movement, and drishti (focus point) to turn their attention inward as they prepare for the higher levels of practice (meditation).

Yin Yoga

A Yin practice is meant to be a compliment to more active and dynamic practices and lifestyles.  In this class, students will be guided safely into and out of a series of specific Yin Yoga postures. Yin postures are  generally held for a minimum of 3-8 minutes. By holding postures for lengthier amounts of time, students are able to gently stretch the deep  connective tissue of their joints. A regular Yin practice will increase  mobility and flexibility while also creating a sense of peace and  wellbeing in students.

All levels welcome.

Restorative

Reset and renew with restorative yoga. Using props like a bolster,  blankets, and blocks the student will be comfortably supported in a  variety of yoga postures inducing extreme relaxation while restoring the  nervous system. This class is much less about 'doing' and much more  about 'being'. Each posture, generally held for 8-15 minutes, brings a  sense of surrender to the body while encouraging a meditative state of  the mind. Counteract the effects of chronic stress as you restore  harmony to your body, mind and emotions.
